Yokany is a communications professional and multimedia journalist in Namibia. She began her journalism career at The Namibian, the country’s biggest daily newspaper, in 2018. Over the years Yokany has covered health features, human rights issues and general news. She is currently enrolled as a participant of the Young African Journalists’ Accelerator Program and covers issues around the climate emergency, a field she believes is crucial in a warming world.
